EOJP Minimum Play Regulations (MPR)

The Jr Predators are one of the top AAU football clubs in the country. We are one of the most desired football clubs to play for in Central Florida. There are many reasons why; our top level coaching and club resources being one of the primary reasons.

The Jr Predators model our tackle football program after High School and College football programs. From our coaching talent level, to coaching technique & approach, position coaching assignments, depth charting, film room practices, game planning, practice planning, to our approach on the practice and playing field.

The Jr Predators do not have Minimum Play Rules (MPR) for 10U, 12U and 14U football. And we have suggested MPR for 8U based on game day situations.

We require every athlete to earn their position, earn their playing time, dedicate and commit to their coaches, their teammates, and their club and commit to the required work needed to succeed as a team. We have a “WeAre11” philosophy which applies to every single athlete on our rosters and every single member of our club. Some Jr Pred football players are superstars, some are role players, some play more than one position, but most focus on the single position or role that makes the team the most successful. Some touch the ball all the time, throw it and carry it, and some have a singular focus to open the holes, and pave the way, so we can dominate the game in the trenches (which is truly where football is won & lost).

Jr Predators registration fees guarantee athletes access to our offseason training program and guarantee the ability to “suit up” for the pre-season program, FYFCL Jamboree, FYFCL regular season, and the FYFCL playoffs. (as well as the other included items such as equipment, jersey, physical, etc.)

However, “suiting up” for the AAU National Football tournament is not guaranteed with your Jr Predator registration fees. The AAU National Football tournament only permits 35 players on the roster. This is very similar to college programs that have a much larger home roster, but must trim their “suite up” or “travel rosters” down when on the road or in Bowl Games.

The decision to “suit up” for AAU Nationals is 100% the team coaches and our board’s decision and is based on many factors including team contribution, age, practice attendance during the regular season and after the FYFCL season, athlete effort and attitude, and other factors. Any injuries will automatically prevent a player from “suiting up” as well.

The Jr Predators encourage ALL players to attend the AAU National Tournament We encourage all athletes to take off school, and we encourage all families to book hotel rooms at the team hotel. We want all players to be on the sidelines, with the jersey on, and a part of what their team accomplishes at Nationals. But again only 35 players can “suit up”, have gear on and be a part of the AAU Nationals playing roster. And these decisions will be made after the FYFCL regular season and playoffs.
